I normally don't do this kind thing, but I just couldn't stop myself from entering two of my amateur photographs on this adorable little blog called "Life Is Too Short Not To Wear Red Shoes". I think the name of the blog is what won me over to be honest(because I do love red shoes!). So here are my two photographs for my impulse entree in a photo contest!

Hello Again Blogging World

Writing again…after a small, unintended break from the blogging world I am writing again. I must say, it feels good to put pen to paper once again. Yes, I am terribly old fashioned and write everything down in notebooks before it ever reaches cyberworld. Anyways, it’s good to be back and I have many new ideas bouncing around inside my head for this blog and for my newer blog Lyrics & Love. I also have a few guest writers lined up that you aren’t going to want to miss. All in all it’s great to be back, and I hope you stayed tuned to see what comes up next here on Inside My Head!

New Blog Launch

No I am not abandoning Inside My Head. It is very much and will remain my personal little corner of the blogging world, which I am very much in love with. However, I fell so in love with the wonderful world of blogging that I thought I could somehow manage the up keep of two blogs...So I hope you all will venture over to Lyrics & Love and tell me what you think. I have also given Inside My Head here a minor face lift by adding a few page links to the top. Nothing major just something to help you get around a little easier without cluttering the main page. Thanks for all your support over the past couple years...I look forward to much more blogging in 2011!!!

I am just giddy about this inspiring new Holiday magazine & gift guide recently launched by Creature Comfort (blog). Gifted is a stunning on-line publication bringing together an assortment of talented minds offering you gorgeous ideas and products. The magazine features include shopping, gift ideas, decor, treats, do-it-yourself projects and so very much more. After I stumbled across this magazine one afternoon via a Facebook status, I simply could not stop admiring the beautiful images that are so precisely laid out. Once I could bring myself to stop swooning over the whimsical appearance, I began to explore the written portion and blogger links the publication had to offer. The magazine itself is such a joyful experience, but the adventure lying on each of it’s pages appears to be endless. Inside you will discover a whirlwind of inspiration on each and every one of the 200 plus pages. Without elaboration, there is simply something for everyone. Each and every one of the contributor’s deserves a pat on the back for a job well done, along with the dreamer behind the idea for such a stunning piece of on-line publication. One more bit of good news that I must mention is that access to Gifted magazine is totally FREE. Not only is it free, it gives amazing gift ideas and provides links to each one, giving the magazine both beauty and brains.

A+ Blogging

Our focus this month is going to be LOVE, but before I get started on that topic for the month. I wanted to share a cute little blogging trend going around. Bloggers are giving each other awards. I was awarded my first one today by a fellow blogger from Two Bears Farm. I thought what a great idea this is. Not only does it make you just feel down right great that someone is actually reading your blog, but it also drums up some more readers/followers. It is also a wonderful way to share what you have been reading in the blogging world, and give your fellow blogger some credit! =) I promise we will get back to the topic of love tomorrow so stay tuned for that.

1. I am Mommy to 3 amazing little boys!!! The are my heart and happiness. Motherhood is the greatest job you will ever love that makes you pull your hair out daily.
2. I don't just read I devour books they are my escape to far away lands!
3. I find tattoos beautiful. My husband and I have matching wedding band tattoos, and I love them!!!
4. I have been in love with the same man since I was 14 years old.
5. I am a believer in Jesus!!!
6. I love photography! I secertly wished my family could be photographed everyday. I don't want to forget any of these precious memories we are making. Photography is such a great way capture treasured moments. It is also a wonderful way to express ourselves and make a very personal art.
7. I don't really like talking on the phone. I love having dinner or hanging out with friends and family, but I am terrible at keeping in touch by phone.
